The Night Mare – Full Moon Madness
An orange full moon fills the night sky as clouds sail by on the wind. Gliding on leathery bat wings, gray as smoke, the Night Mare invades your dreams…
My dreaming realm is often much more interesting than my waking life.ย Do you remember your dreams?

I had a weird dream last night. An office colleague had absorbed too much radiation from the office so I had to give him a big vat of anti-freeze to drink to counteract the effects. He spat some of it out. I evidently had a visit from the Night Mare in a somewhat playful mood ๐

I hope you were wearing your HAZMET suit in that dream! Who knew that anti-freeze could counteract radiation? Or did it? There’s a good story in there, Ali! ๐

Wow – striking panting. the night-mare well captured. But never tamed! That horrid horse!
I love the poem that goes with it too,
Whenever I click through to your website I am blown away by just how many great paintings you have in your collection. Is there an art gallery in your local town? they probably don’t know what they have there in their doorstep.

Thank you so much, Sherwyn, for your lovely comment. In my dreams, there is an art gallery and I can’t walk down the street without being asked for autographs. In real life, not so much! ๐

In my dream it’s a book shop, or I decline a Nobel prize for sophisticated reasons I don’t understand.
Still, I would like to visit such an art exhibition and I can’t be the only one. When I think back to some of the random spectacles I’ve witnessed walking through my local(respected) art gallery, it’s obvious you’rs should be displayed instead.

Ha ha! Well credit where credit is due.
Yes I like that idea. Henri could t the book butler. People would find his cosmopolitan disdain charming.

Henri thought it was another name for a bed sheet. Besides, he uses an abacus! ๐

I seldom remember my dreams (save Orson Welles pulling my heart out) but often the feeling of them echoes out through the next few days, like something you catch in the mirror in the corner of your eye but when you look there is nothing.

Yes, the mirror thing! I generally remember mine. What’s really strange is when the dream is so real, I wonder if it actually happened.

Sometimes my dreams are more real than my waking life and I find myself wondering where the dreaming ends and the living begins… then I look in the mirror and see the state of my hair.

I know! It can be quite eerie sometimes. My hair and the dreams! ๐
