Here are my answers to Cee’s Share Your World 14 August 2017
When you leave a room, do you turn the lights off behind you or keep the lights on throughout your house most of the time?
As my dad always said,”We don’t have stock in the electric company. Close the lights when you leave the room.” One of the few rules I’ve ever followed.
What do you feel is the most enjoyable way to spend $500?
Travel!
Complete this sentence: My favorite thing to do on my cell phone is…
Nothing. I don’t have one!
What inspired you this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

You are very welcome, Sir Doubtpuppet! 🙂
PS You can keep Henri for a few more days unless he promises to weed the garden upon his return.

No danger of that – he’s been planting weeds in my garden while muttering French curse words. I don’t know what I’ve done to incur his wrath. I even bought him an early birthday present – charming little set of gardening equipment – a fork & trowel, a watering can and some gloves. All with a repeating pattern of kittens. Maybe gnomes are known for being ungrateful, I dunno. Who carries weed seeds around with them anyway? Please come and fetch him as a matter of urgency.

Oh dear! I always thought gnomes were into gardening, as they appear in gardens everywhere. Apparently Henri is quite the contrarian. No wonder I have so many weeds! 🙂

I love that you do not have a cell phone! I did not have one, up until about a year ago when I was ‘forced’ to get one for’ purposes of work’.

I know twenty years ago it was like this, but I’d be scared to drive anywhere without my mobile phone in case I broke down in the middle of nowhere 😦
Am I to understand Henri’s been kidnapped? 🙂

If I had a car, I might get a mobile.
Henri will have his little jokes. He’s on holiday 🙂

I agree with your dad, I turn off lights when I leave a room. Also: travel, me too by far!! But: you don’t own a cell phone?! Gee, that’s ALL I own! Lol Next year will mark 20 years since my first cell. They’ve sure come a lonnnng way, far more processing power than the first personal computers. Talk about progress, just incredible. My sis-in-law does her Japanese language lessons on her phone!
