It was Gnomes against Goblins in this last competition of the IMPS* Olympics.
Henri of Team Gnomes managed to pull off a hat-trick despite 2 offsides by the opposing Goblins in the first period. But it was Team Goblins who won the match and the gold medal.
A number of minor penalties were called on both sides in what turned out to be a game for the ages with 10 overtimes. The final score was 142 to 141.

That was a close match. But all in all, Henri and Team Gnome acquitted themselves well throughout the Gnames!

I love the picture – it looks eerily realistic! Which of course it is. I was sad the stupid goblins won. Cheating no doubt. I bet the fights were good and frequent.

Yes, so many fights and penalties! Which is why the game lasted 6 hours into overtime 😀

I think those gruesome goblins were far too rough for gnorgeous gnomes , but overall our Henri and the gnome team had a wonderful IMPS Olympics.

In 6 hours of overtime the score went wild! Yes, quite a lot of mead was consumed after the games. 🙂
