Summer Solstice
The Summer Solstice, also known as Midsummer and Litha, has been celebrated by various cultures all around the world for millennia. The longest day and the shortest night of the year is a celebration of the sun. In the Northern hemisphere everything is green and growing as we await a fruitful harvest.
Wishing everyone a joyful and magickal Summer Solstice!

My garden has gone from nothing to very green in no time 🙂

Mine too. I spent 3 hours yesterday pulling weeds. At least now, you can find the cucumber and squash plants. Got my first ripe tomatoes yesterday too. 🙂

Yes! At last! A long awaited Magick Mermaid post!
But so soon the summer solstice? I suspect the meddling time pirates. Twas no more than a mere 5 minutes since the winter one. What next? Autumn??? Ha! I sometimes wonder if this whole thing just repeats. The conspiracy theorists are remarkably quiet about it though so maybe not.

Beautiful. Love the four trees together. Summer Solstice is so bittersweet~ I do wish the sun would not be so finicky about balance.

I love the long days, which is about the only thing I like about summer. The sweltering heat takes the of fun out it. It won’t be long until I’m looking forward to the cool nights of autumn.

I’ve been to Stonehenge several times, including a special ceremony for a small group on tour. But not for Summer Solstice.
