I love Autumn! Bright blue skies, crisp air, harvest fruits and vegetables and colourful leaves. Lots and lots of leaves. When I purchased my property the three big trees once here, were long gone. Only the stumps remain. I wish I had a tree! However, all the neighbours’ leaves are now in my back garden.
Much to my surprise, Henri volunteered to rake them into a large pile to be used as compost. He was out there for quite some time. Suddenly I heard faint cries for help! I ran outside to see what was happening.
Not able to resist jumping into a pile of leaves, he had taken a flying leap from a tree stump. I extracted Henri from the mountain of leaves, jumped in myself and then made us some hot chocolate. π
Oh Henri !!, your Autumn leap of faith
Got you buried leaves up to your hat…. but you do look so funny !!…..

Ha, how do they say “stilts” in French… have to look it up! Happy Fall! Wish it could stay like this till Spring!

That would be funny to see a gnome on stilts! Although I have a feeling Henri would be aghast π

Stumps and leaves to us, a playground to Henri! I’m glad he’s okay and I hope you both enjoyed your hot chocolate π

Yes, we did! There’s nothing better than hot chocolate after extracting oneself from a pile of leaves π
