The longest day and the shortest night of the year is a celebration of the sun. In the Northern hemisphere everything is green and growing as we await a fruitful harvest.

I always have mixed feelings about the summer solstice. The long days have peaked and will slowly start getting shorter, but I’m always excited when the winter solstice rolls around. 🙂
