The modern celebration of Halloween is derived from the ancient Celtic celebration of Samhain, which marked the end of Summer and honoured the Ancestors.
Celebrated on October 31st, spirits may visit as the veil between This World and the Otherworld is the thinnest. This is also a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest.

Way to go!
It was hell weird at work; last year we ran out of candy in 40 minutes, this year there were 3 kids (and a lot of s%t faced drunk people at 4pm) cause come Monday we’ll be locking down.
I can’t help shake the feeling, live would be better if we all took this seriously.

I agree entirely! With the death toll rising daily, I don’t understand why so many don’t understand that everyone must follow safety rules.
