Agreed! We have so much to re-learn about our deeper connection with nature and especially trees. Sadly, I think we will find it quite a struggle to get past Robert Graves’ writings as they seem to be regarded as gospel by so many nowadays.

Although being from the southern hemisphere might change this a little, I really do resonate with this being my tree! My ancestry is mostly Northern people; Celtic and Nordic cultures.
Anyway, lovely illustrations as per usual. I’ve followed your blog for a while but had a huge months long ( maybe even over a year long?) break. I’ve changed my name from “cloudbaker”
to “noircotic”, so you may not recognise ( or remember!) me. Either way, doesn’t matter. Still enjoying your work!
