I just happened to be hanging out with a Libra the other night! I still don’t know too much about astrology, tbh, but out of curiosity I got a chart done a few years back. I must say, I wasn’t expecting it to be so eerily accurate. As I get older I do find myself wondering if we have as much free will as we think….I’ve not formed any solid conclusions either way, but I’m very intrigued by these subjects nonetheless!
P.s. Have you ever thought about making a set of oracle cards? I’d buy ’em! I’ve been wanting to create some myself, ( have done 20 of a Tarot deck…but then hit a wall. It’s going to be a years long project, methinks!). But anyway, just thought I’d ask, as your work would lend itself quite nicely to something like that, I think 🙂
My sun sign is Pisces and Seahorse in Celtic lunar astrology. Attributes for both are spot on for me. Hence, Magick Mermaid. 😀
I’ve pondered the free will aspect as well. I think it depends how individuals respond and act in given circumstances. Pisces and the Seahorse are said to be adaptable. In some instances I am in order to achieve a positive outcome. In other scenarios, not so much as what is expected by the status quo goes against what I believe to the right path for me.
Thank you so much for the compliment! I have thought about it several times. The enormous undertaking of the project is daunting. If you have already have 20 cards you should definitely continue! I’m sure they would be amazing!
Ah, that’s awesome! Makes me feel like I should learn a bit more about it all…I have a lot of contradictory stuff going on in mine, it seems. Makes sense though, as I’m a very fragmented person 😂
Yes, it’s a tricky one, eh. Maybe it’s a bit of both? I just read a book that got me thinking about this sort of thing again, and it suggests that things are far more complicated than either/ or….I’d agree, but my poor brain begins to hurt if I think about these mysteries too much!
No worries! I think a Magick Mermaid Tarot or oracle deck would be brilliant! But yes, I know what you mean. I got a bit overwhelmed with my Tarot project…..78 cards in a deck…eek! Oracle decks can be whatever you want them to be, so you could safely halve that number. That’s why I’ve been thinking about that instead 😉 Still a big project, though, for sure. And you’re right; I should probably finish what I’ve started. Out of that 20 there are a good 3 or 4 that I wish to fix/ improve, though. Sigh! Some day I’ll get there!
